Lopez returns for his 10th season with the Thunderdogs, his 7th as manager.  Despite a second consecutive sub par offensive season, Lopez pulled in his 8th consecutive defensive gold glove award, the first player in WRWBL history to win 8 in a row.  In addition, he was voted as the league's Sportsman of the Year for his work with the league.
