Holland returns to the Schooners for his first full season after signing a midseason contract for the Schooners last year. Holland was named first-team all-A.I.I/Frontier Conference. He batted a team-leading .333 for Dakota St. with 15 RBI and 28 runs scored. He also led the team with a .430 on-base percentage, drawing 23 walks and striking out just 10 times. Holland had 54 total bases on the season, helped by a team-high 8 doubles.
Last summer with Mystic, Holland batted .314 in 19 games with 6 RBI in a utility-player role.
As a sophomore for the Trojans, Holland batted .244 with 16 RBI and 27 runs scored in 56 games. He also clubbed 5 doubles and 1 triple, while drawing 18 walks compared to only 17 strikeouts for the season. Holland only committed 8 errors in the field.
The Montville High School graduated is also once again reunited with high school baseball head coach Phil Orbe, whom he played for four years as well as the remainder of last summer with Mystic.
