Former Red Sox pitcher and Greeley CO native, Matt Mundfrom has been named as the pitching coach for the 2013 Regina Red Sox. After successful careers playing for Greeley Central High School and the Greeley GoJo’s American Legion baseball team, Matt spent two years at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, CO playing for Moose Jaw native Scott Douglas, earning 2nd Team All Region IX honors in both 2008 and 2009. In both of those years, he spent the summer seasons pitching for the Red Sox. In 2009, Matt set a WMBL playoff record by striking out 16 Melville Millionaire batters in a 7-0 Regina victory. After successful shoulder surgery in 2010, Matt completed his collegiate career pitching one year each for Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO (2012) and Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD (2013).
