This player was picked up in the off-season from another highly talented team.  Last year, he played in the fall season of 2012 and was quickly nicknamed "the beast".  He mashes the ball like a beast mashes his prey and his glove is terrific in the field.  Came to the team in search of a home to play at and what an acquisition that turned out to be.  He is protected and has been franchised and doesn't even know that yet!  He has been locked up until 2023.
