Zack is a sophomore pitcher who plays collegiate ball for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.  The former ninth-round pick of the Kansas City Royals has gotten off to a strong start to his college career.  During his freshman season in 2008, he appeared in 19 games for the Hawkeyes both as a starter and a reliever.  He also logged the fifth-most innings of any pitcher (40.2) and ranked fourth on the team with 12 relief appearances.  At Davenport Central High School (Iowa) he earned an array of accolades including being named to the Elite All-State Team and the Louisville Slugger All-American Team in his senior season.  Son of Tom and Jill Kenyon, Zach has yet to declare a major.
