Outfielder Ryan Sweenor will be playing in his hometown for the Waves this season.  Ryan is the son of team owner Jeff Sweenor helping to make the Waves a true family affair and thus adding to the family atmosphere that the Waves will provide. Ryan comes off an outstanding season for the Salve Regina Seahawks. As a rookie, he earned Second Team All-Conference honors. He collected a batting average of .344, after 39 games played.  Sweenor also scored 26 runs, with 31 RBI in the process and a homerun on the year.
