Elman continues his Bluejay career at the next level after graduating from Creighton Prep in 2012.
Taylor helped lead the Bluejays to the State Championships last season, posting a 10-1 record. He closed the season with a 1.09 ERA, recording 75 strikeouts in 84 innings.
Elman was equally a threat at the plate, hitting .440 with a .637 slugging percentage, had 40 hits and drove in 41 runs in 2012.
Following the season, Taylor was named to the All-Nebraska Class A First Team.
