Fox was leading the Atlantic League with 25 home runs and 82 RBI and was among the league leaders in several offensive categories including a .310 batting average before signing to play for the Arizona Diamondbacks last season.
Fox followed up his tremendous 2013 season with an even more impressive 2014, splitting the year in Mexico and Double-A for the Philadelphia Phillies. Before joining the Patriots this season, Fox hit a combined .307 with 154 hits, 31 doubles, 38 home runs, and 116 RBI in 135 games played for Laguna and Reading.
Fox spent parts of the 2011 season at the Major League and Triple-A level with
the Baltimore Orioles.
In 2010 he split time in the Major Leagues with both the Oakland Athletics and the Orioles. He also has Major League experience with the Chicago Cubs in 2007 and 2009.
He has a Minor League career batting average of .293 with 1,122 hits, 266 doubles, 12 triples, 211 home runs, and 744 RBI in 1,042 games.
