Jimmy Rohan begins his first season in El Paso and fourth season in independent ball in 2012 after spending time with the Calgary Vipers of the North American League in 2011 and the Organ County Flyers of the Golden Baseball League in 2009-2010.  The 6-1, 190 lbs infielder from Valencia, CA, began his career in 2002 with the Rookie affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Gulf Coast Leage, the GCL Dodgers.  Rohan split time in 2003 with the GCL Dodgers, before moving up to the High A level Vero Beach Dodgers of the Florida State League in 2003 and 2004.  He continued his climb up the ranks, heading to the Columbus Catfish of the South Atlantic League in 2004 and the Double A affiliate of the Dodgers, the Jacksonville Suns of the Southern League in 2005.  In 2005, Rohan rose as high as Triple A with the Las Vegas 51s of the Pacific Coast League, before heading back to Vero Beach and Jacksonville in 2006 and 2007.  In 10 seasons of professional baseball, Rohan has compiled career statistics .304/.360/.382 with 309 runs, 641 hits, 109 doubles, 10 triples, and twelve home runs, with 292 RBIs in 648 games played.  In 2011 with the Vipers, Rohan hit .379/.441/.495 with 114 hits, 51 runs, 24 doubles, four triples, and one home run with 58 RBIs in 79 games played.  Rohan has a career fielding percentage of .946 being used primarily as a first or second baseman.
