Chris was born and raised in Lexington, Mass. and is ranked as one of the best prep prospects in New England in advance of the 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. A recent graduate of Lexington High School, he stared as a first baseman and a clean-up hitter.
The captain at Lexington High School during his senior year, Chris has been on the All-Middlesex League Team throughout his high school career and in 2011; he was named Middlesex League MVP. He was put on the All- Massachusetts Junior team, the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team, Northeast Area Code and East Coast Pro Showcase Teams, and Perfect Game WWBA AII WWBA World Tournament Team.
In 2012 he was featured on the ESPN All-State Team and Perfect Game 3rd Team All-American. Chris batted .480 with 11 doubles, eight home runs, 42 RBI and he pitched 5-0 record with 0.10 ERA, 57 strikeout in 30 innings.
In addition to baseball, Chris also achieved in hockey being the LHS team captain in 2012 and the starting defenseman in 2009-2012. He is committed to begin his collegiate career at Boston College in the fall.
