ABOUT: First arm out of the bullpen for the DII NCAA Tournament-participant Franklin Pierce Ravens. Logged 21 innings in 17 appearances, averaging a strikeout per inning. Was handed the keys to the closer’s role as a freshman in 2010, as the Ravens made it to the final four of the DII College World Series. Reshirted in 2011 due to an elbow injury. Played last summer with the Western Division’s Danbury Westerners, though mostly for rehabilitation purposes. Three seasons of experience against wooden bats. College teammate of former Muskrats Mike Munoz, Nate Sermini, and Cody Kauffman (coach).

PERSONAL: Born October 6, 1991. Son of Richard and Barbara Blanc. Has a younger brother: Connor. No stranger to New Hampshire, attending college in Rindge.
