Evan Potter hit only .190 during his sophomore year at San Diego St, but is firmly entrenched as a starter at San Diego St. Potter is one of the best defensive shortstops in the country and even though he had 10 errors they were mostly as a result of Potter getting to balls many other players cannot. Potter will continue to work on his hitting in Holyoke and with some improvement he could become one of the best all around shortstops on the west coast.
