Horrell returns to York having been a key member of the 2024 Atlantic League championship club. The right hander went 6-8 with a 5.03 ERA in 30 appearances (19 starts) and finished strong with a 2.73 ERA over his final five starts of the regular season. He ranked 7th in the league in ERA after transitioning to a starter's role for the first time since college, and was dominant in the postseason with six innings of one-hit ball in the team's Division Series clinching victory vs Lancaster. Horrell was originally a 30th round pick of the Houston Astros in 2019 out of Campbell University where he was the Big South Pitcher of the Year, and advanced to Double-A Corpus Christi in 2021 and 2022 in the Astros organization.
