Scott signs with York for his second Atlantic League season. The 24-year-old went 2-3 with a 4.70 ERA in 9 games (8 starts) for Lexington last season including a 1.88 ERA through his first six outings. Scott enjoyed several dominant outings, notably six innings of one-hit ball in a start vs Lancaster, and six innings of two-hit ball with a career-high 9 strikeouts in a start vs York and the Revs' record-setting offense last August. He began his pro career in 2022 as an 8th round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals, and went 2-2 with a 4.76 ERA in 24 games out of Class A Columbia’s bullpen in 2023. Scott was drafted out of Walters State (TN) where he was one of junior college's top pitchers, and also had stints at San Jacinto College and University of Arizona. He is an alumnus of Team USA having competed for the nation's 15U team during his amateur days.
