Bobby Vath is in his first year with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional in 2025. He signed with the Bolts on December 12, 2024. Bobby pitched in the summer of 2024 for the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League, posting an 8.90 ERA in 14 games (two starts). He struck out 31 batters in 30.1 innings. As a rookie in 2023, he went 1-2 with a 16.88 ERA in ten games for the Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League.

A product of LSU-Shreveport, Vath was a Second Team NAIA All-American in 2023 and was named the Pitcher of the Year in the Red River Athletic Conference. In two years, he compiled a 24-2 record with a 2.63 ERA and 207 strikeouts in 174.1 innings. He also spent one year at Arizona Western College, where he went 9-3 with a 3.31 ERA, and one year at New York Tech, where he pitched in four games (three starts) and posted a 2.27 ERA. He attended Newfield High School in Centereach, New York.
