A local product, Walker looks to launch his professional career with York in 2025.  A native of York Haven, PA, the left-handed hitting infielder played at the University of Pittsburgh after a star-studded career at nearby Red Land High School.  Walker only committed 1 error his senior year playing infield for Red Land and delivered the game-winning hit in Red Land’s PIAA 5A State Championship as a senior captain in 2019. Walker won numerous games at WellSpan Park during his amateur days, and also played for the York Young Revolution travel ball organization in his teen years.

After a COVID shortened freshman season at Pitt in which he only saw 2 game appearances, Walker transferred south to Alabama where he currently resides, to play for a nationally ranked JUCO Wallace State in the ACCC.  In his time at Wallace he was a team leader with a .354 batting average, .463 on base percentage in 252 plate appearances anchoring shortstop for Wallace.  He hit 2 HR’s vs East Central Mississippi on his way to 5 RBI’s and collected another HR vs Motlow State Tennessee earlier in the week earning him player of the week honors in the conference.

Walker moved on to Jacksonville State in Conference-USA, but decided to walk away from baseball that Fall to pursue his degree which he earned in December, 2024.  After missing the most part of two seasons, he joined the Choccolocco Monsters in Oxford, Alabama in the Sunbelt College Summer Draft league in 2024.  He led the team by batting .402 during the season and went on to win the Sunbelt College League Championship in Atlanta.  After the season he was recruited by numerous professional organizations. 

Walker signed with the Revs after a stellar Pro Day showing at local FullReps Training Center in Camp Hill, PA.
