Miguel Pozo, a native of the Dominican Republic, joins Sioux City from the New York Yankees organization. He did not pitch in 2024 due to injury and was released in April. In 2023, Pozo spent the season in the Florida Complex League, going 2-1 with a 1.83 ERA in 24 innings, striking out 26 in 13 relief appearances. In 2022, Pozo was named to the Mid-Season All-Star Team in the Dominican Summer League, posting a 1-7 record with a 3.05 ERA in 47.2 innings, leading the team with 70 strikeouts.

Pozo made his professional debut in 2021 with the Yankees 1 club in the Dominican Summer League, going 3-1 with a 3.05 ERA in 38.1 innings, striking out 48. He has a career ERA of 3.27 in 110.0 pro innings with 144 strikeouts. Pozo brings his experience and 3.27 ERA to Sioux City in 2025.
