Lajoie made a return to the mound following two redshirt seasons with the Bisons, appearing in five games out of the bullpen in 2021. He struck out the side in an April 7 appearance against Queens. He allowed just two hits in 3.1 innings on the season. Prior to Lipscomb, Lajoie played two seasons at St. John’s and also spent one of his prior summers with a former NECBL rival in the Winnipesaukee Muskrats. 

Prior to college, Lajoie was a senior captain for Taunton High School, leading the Tigers to their first-ever state championship back in 2019. Lajoie’s great-uncle is Nap Lajoie, the Baseball Hall of Famer who won the Triple Crown as a member of the 1901 Philadelphia Phillies.
