After 4 outstanding seasons at Valdosta State, Jacob Harper will hope to end his collegiate career on another high note, participating in the FCSL for the first time. After two summers in the Sunbelt Baseball League, Harper made the move to the MLB Draft League in 2023, where he would play for the Williamsport Crosscutters (under head coach Jesse Litsch) and have a bounceback summer. Now, following in the trail of his head coach, Harper has made the move to Sanford, where he brings in a career .293 batting average in 144 games played at Valdosta State. Although the catcher did see a slight decrease in power numbers during his senior season, his on-base percentage soared upwards as a result of a decrease in strikeouts and an increase in walks.
