Bello is the first player in Navs history from one of the U.S. service academies, arriving after appearing in five games and starting four as an Air Force sophomore. A two-way player, he completed 7.2 innings while striking out three batters from the mound while also making an impact in the batter’s box, collecting four hits with one double, three RBI and four runs scored. 

Bello joined the Falcons from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Fla, where he was a two-sport athlete in baseball and golf. He was a two-time Sun Sentinel District All-Palm Beach County selection. At the Air Force Academy, Bello is a member of Cadet Squadron 27.
