Pauley made a significant impact on the Crimson’s pitching plans as a freshman, appearing in 15 total games and earning three of his four starts once Ivy League play began. The righty finished third on the Crimson with 41 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .227 average across 44 innings. He concluded the spring with 5.2 solid innings against Yale on May 11, earning his first career win and Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors.

Prior to college, Pauley was an all-league honoree in both 2022 and 2023 and earned Athletics Scholar of the Year honors as a senior at Windward High School in Los Angeles. He followed his great grandfather in playing baseball at Harvard.
