Casey O’Brien is one of the newest members of the SwampBats coaching staff, joining in 2023 for his first season when he will serve as an assistant to head coach Shaun McKenna.

A Connecticut native, O’Brien brings in over 10 years of coaching experience of high school and college athletes in his home state.  He currently coaches at his alma mater, Wilton High School, and held previous roles with AAU organizations where he ran player development programs as a hitting coordinator and head coach.

In congruence with his coaching experience, O’Brien commits to staying up to date with the latest coaching techniques and technologies.  He is an active member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and holds both a Driveline and Rapsodo hitting certification.  O’Brien is constantly seeking education and new information to integrate into his coaching methodology. 

“I am excited to join the coaching staff and SwampBat organization, and look forward to helping bring a championship to Keene,” said O’Brien.
