Garner comes to the River Rats following two years on the mound at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Over his two seasons with the Blue Wave, Garner appeared in 17 games, all out of the bullpen. He earned a win during one of his five appearances as a freshman, and racked up 16 strikeouts in 19.1 total innings of work. The Jacksonville native, who played his high school baseball at Bishop Snyder, is committed to continue his collegiate career at Florida A&M.
