A utility player who spent his sophomore year at Bryant as an infielder, DeMartinis entered the Northeast Conference playoffs having played in 20 games after missing all of 2021 due to injury. He reached base at a .333 clip, scored eight runs and had four of his seven hits go for extra bases. During April, he went on a four-game hitting streak that included two multi-hit games and his first career home run against Fairleigh Dickinson.

DeMartinis played all four seasons of varsity baseball at American Heritage High School in Delray, Fla., the No. 4-ranked team in the country. He was a .323 career hitter and led the team in runs scored, stolen bases and doubles as a junior.
