Gordon just played his first season at UCF after one season at Hillsborough Community College and a redshirt year at Florida. The lefthander was a part of UCF’s starting rotation in 2020, going 2-0 with a 2.35 earned run average in four starts. In 23 innings, Gordon struck out 24 hitters and walked only five. His freshman season at Hillsborough saw him record a 2.44 ERA in 15 appearances. He struck out 86 hitters with just 12 walks, and posted a 7-4 record. In the summer ball circuit, Gordon played two summers with the Kenosha Kingfish of the Northwoods League.
