Mike Orchard - Profile

| The 31 year-old Orchard is returning for his second year as the MoonDogs field manager, after leading the MoonDogs to the playoffs last year. He previously served as an assistant coach during the summer of 2004 and 2005 in Thunder Bay and La Crosse respectively. Orchard has also spent summers coaching in the Cape Cod League and the Arizona Summer Collegiate League. Orchard currently serves as the pitching coach and pitching recruiter for Central Arizona College which is located in Coolidge, Arizona. Prior to his current position, he was the pitching coach at Chandler Gilbert Community College and also worked at USC and the Rod Dedeaux Research and Baseball Institute. | |||||||
