2011:Peterson is one of several DMACC players that will join the Express this season. Peterson helped lead the Bears to the NJCAA World Series. Up until the World Series, Peterson has accumulated a 5-1 record with a 3.41 ERA in 22 appearances, a number that leads the team. He has one start on the season, but the rest of his appearances have come out of the bullpen. He logged 34.1 innings and has allowed a miniscule .214 BAA. He also struck out 46 batters as opposed to 13 walks. He will join the Express for his first season as a temporary pitcher that will most likely provide depth to the bullpen.
