Started 39 games in 2011 as a junior at Florida Southern. He hit .295 with five home runs and 26 RBI. Chubb transferred to Florida Southern after playing two seasons at the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. He was a first team all conference selection in 2010, hitting .350 with seven home runs and 50 RBI. Chubb Played in five games last season for Sanford in the FCSL. He was named to the all-tournament team at the 2010 Junior College World Series. The Lake Mary, Fla. native was a third team all-state selection as a senior at Lake Mary High School in 2007.
