Krustangel is in his third year as head coach of the AppleSox. He also serves as the head coach at Yakima Valley College. In his first season at YVC, Krustangel and the Yaks won the 2016 NWAC title. Krustangel was the hitting coach at his alma mater, Whitworth University, before becoming the Yaks’ skipper. Prior to coaching at the college level, he was the head varsity coach at Bridgeport High School from 2011-14. The Spokane native graduated from Ferris High School and played collegiately at Big Bend Community College and Whitworth University. Krustangel also played in the West Coast League for the Spokane Riverhawks in 2008. He is the fourth head coach in the history of the AppleSox.
