Casey Buckley, a freshman catcher from Long Beach, Calif., will arrive in Sanford following an NCAA Tournament appearance with the University of Michigan. After receiving Perfect Game Underclass High Honorable Mention and First Team All-Sunset League honors as a junior at


Los Alamitos High School, he was rated the No. 155 overall player and No. 18 catcher heading


into his senior season. Buckley backed up the hype by being named a Rawlings-Perfect Game


California Regional and All-American Honorable Mentions in 2018. He has made 12 appearances in his first collegiate season, including two starts in that time.
