Travis is in his first year as an assistant coach at Gordon College.  Prior to that, he served as the head coach for the Fayette-Staples Junior legion program for three summers, guiding the team to three straight playoff appearances.  Additionally, Travis has worked as a member of the staff at
the Frozen Ropes Training Center in Portland, ME since 2008 where he coached in various leagues, clinics and classes.

As a player, Travis was a four year catcher at St. Joseph's College where he was part of three conference championship teams, qualifying for three New England Regional appearances. Travis was a third team all-conference catcher as a senior and the Monk's Gold Glove award recipient.  Travis finished a
stellar career with a .320 career batting average and left St. Joe's with the most starts at catcher in program history.
