Kevin Gallaher - Profile

This will be Kevin Gallaher's second season as a pitching/assistant coach in the FCSL. Last year was with the Sanford River Rats, with Davey Johnson and Kevin Davidson. Kevin graduated from St. Bonaventure University(Atlantic 10 Conference), from which he earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree. He was a non-drafted graduate student by the Houston Astros in 1991. Gallaher was on the 40 Man Roster for three years with Houston. He pitched 9 years with the Houston, Detroit, Baltimore and Milwaukee's organizations. Kevin was a part of three championship teams during his career. He threw a 92-95 fastball, a slider and a curveball. He is a business owner and an entrepreneur in the Commodity Industry. Kevin enjoys helping support several Non-Profit Foundations. He currently lives in Oviedo with his wife Debbie and has two children, Kurtis and Alina. Gallaher looks forward to being back on the field and assisting these college players further their playing skills and careers. |
