This spring, he is wrapping up his first year as an assistant coach at Southern New Hampshire University. He also coached for one season in the Granite State Showcase League, a traveling league that goes to different colleges and invites coaches to watch the games. A native of Naperville, Illinois, Scott came to the Northeast to attend Southern New Hampshire University. He played right field for the Penmen and was named team MVP his senior season. He graduated with a degree in Sport Management and is currently pursuing a Masters of Marketing. Scott’s responsibilities with the Bay Sox include working with the hitters on their offense, and the infielders and outfielders on their defense. His goal this season is to improve the players’ abilities – and his own – as much as possible for when everyone returns to school in the fall. He also wants to see the team bond and have good chemistry, and of course, he wants to make the playoffs. |
