Miles Miller is entering his first season as Bay Sox Pitching Coach.

Miles is currently in his first year as the pitching coach at Philadelphia University.  Last summer, he was the pitching coach for the Torrington Titans of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, where he worked with current Bay Sox head coach Derek Viveiros.  Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT.

While in Torrington, the pitching staff that Miles oversaw had the number one overall prospect in the FCBL, and three of the top 25 prospects overall, according to Perfect Game USA.

A Native of Tahoe City, California, Miles pitched at San Diego Mesa College (juco) before attending Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, where he also pitched.  He graduated with a degree with Business Administration.

This summer he hopes to help the Bay Sox compete for a division title while developing the pitchers, getting them a fair number of innings, and keeping them healthy when they return to their respective programs in the fall.
