2017 Highlights:

• Appeared in 7 games for the Sioux City Explorers of the American American. 

• 5 of his 7 appearances were starts, he finished the season with a 0-2 record and a 7.77 ERA.  

Previous Career:

• Tied an NCAA record in 2008 with 3 wins in a single College World Series.

• Drafted in the 1st  (15th) round of the 2009 MLB draft by the Cleveland Indians out of  the University of North Carolina.

• Made MLB debut on April 30, 2011 for the Indians, and allowed just 4 hits and 2 runs through 6 innings. 

• He went 1-0 in his first 3 starts with Cleveland before being part of a trade for Ubaldo Jimenez, which landed him with the Colorado Rockies.
