De Los Santos joins the flock having played 14 seasons of professional baseball. The 35-year old last pitched in the United States with the Colorado Rockies organization in 2008, spiltting time between the big league-level Rockies and their AAA affiliate, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. That year he posted a 4-6 record and a 5.63 ERA in 25 appearances. The Dominican Republic native has also totaled nine seasons in the Major Leagues with five different teams. He began his career with the Milwaukee Brewers, combining for a 7-10 record with a 4.19 ERA in 183 games over his first six seasons. The southpaw has also spent time with the Philadelphia Phillies, Florida Marlins and Toronto Blue Jays. For his Major League career, De Los Santos has totaled a 9-13 record in 235 games and has struck out 207 batters in 256 innings pitched.
