Tim Atwood (Gorham, ME) graduated from Gorham HS in 2004. A four year letterwinner and starting second baseman for the Rams, Tim was a two-time Western Maine Conference champion and a defensive stalwart. He finished his career as captain of the 2004 team. After graduation, Tim attended the Gunnery school in Washington, CT. He was a three sport athlete and a standout on the hot corner. While playing for Cape Cod Baseball League Coach of the Year, Jeff Trundy, Tim also excelled on the basketball court and running cross country. After a postgraduate year, Tim took his talents to Bristol RI and Roger Williams Univerisity, where heexcelled as a middle infielder for the Hawks, includihg a career high .375 average as a sophomore. Tim established himself as a leader, earning him captain his senior year. In his four years, he helped RWU to a school record 98 wins. Tim currently works at Bridgton Academy where he is an assistant to both the basketball and baseball programs. He also teaches History and English. |
