Starting in fourth most games on the team, Eder finished the regular season .1 innings behind Chandler Day for six most innings on the team. He set his career-high four strikeouts on 6/7 against Long Beach State, unfortunately receiving a no-decision after completing five innings of shutout ball.

Eder attended both Delray Beach Atlantic (Delray Beach, FL) and Calvary Christian Academy (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), finishing his high school career as a CAA Eagle. The southpaw was a highly touted recruit, ranking as the 43rd overall prospect in the country and the No. 1 LHP in the state of Florida by Perfect Game. He was a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game First Team All-American and Florida All-Region First Team Selection.
