An exciting infielder from Boston College, Alu has made his mark for the Eagles in the ACC over the last two years of his collegiate career.  After a break out sophomore year, Alu followed it up with a junior season with a new career-high by starting 47 of his 49 appearances.  He tallied 38 hits including eight doubles and a pair of home runs while racking up 19 RBI and 20 runs scored.  In 2017, Alu was a lightning rod for Boston College as he led the team and ranked 8th in the Atlantic Coast Conference in batting average, hitting .331 on the season and was in the top three on the team in both slugging percentage (.386) and on-base percentage (.384).  He also put up career-highs in hits (55), RBI (23), runs scored (24) and stolen bases (12).  Alu is sure to add to what should be a very stout infield being assembled in Sanford for the 2018 NECBL Season.
