An Upland, Calif. native, Shepherd just finished up his first year playing for the Horned Frogs after a one year stint at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.  The versatile infielder has become a mainstay in the TCU starting lineup this season, mainly at third base, starting 53 of his 54 appearances.  Shepherd tallied 38 hits which led to 26 RBIs, 29 runs scored, six doubles and showed off his power corner abilities by hitting a flurry of home runs down the stretch to put him at third on the team with seven home runs.  He has been solid all year at third base for the Horned Frogs as he has racked up 67 assists to accompany 32 putouts and has a .900 fielding percentage.  To cap a successful career at Upland High School he hit .440 with 27 RBIs in his senior season, earning him All-Conference honors.
