Ryan Blake-Jones is returning for his second season as a member of the Muskegon Clippers. The Ann Arbor, Michigan native appeared in 34 games for the Clippers last season as a first baseman and catcher where he excelled both in the field and at the plate. An outstanding defender, Ryan was an also an important run producer leading the Clippers in three categories; batting average (.314), home runs (5), and RBI’s (34).
In the spring of 2017, Ryan made his college debut at Grand Valley State University. The redshirt freshman appeared in 27 games for the Lakers last spring. He finished the season with a batting average of .286 which included seven doubles. Entering the 2018 spring season, Ryan is expected to play a significant role in the Laker lineup.
Ryan was born on December 20, 1996, and is the son of Stan Jones and Laura Blake-Jones. He has two siblings, older brother Jordan and younger brother Kyler. Welcome back to Muskegon Ryan!
