Cody Kopilchack will be returning to North Adams for the first time since 2006 when he visited to watch his brother John Kopilchack (Wright St.) patrol the outfield for the SteepleCats and lead the team with 4 home runs. Kopilchack be arriving with his Wright State battery-mate Garrett Gray after splitting time between the Raiders’ bullpen and starting rotation.

Kopilchak made 16 appearances with seven starts in 2011, finishing strong in the second half of the season with an overall record of 2-2 as Wright State took home the Horizon League’s Regular Season Championship. Kopilchak racked up the third-highest strikeout total for the Raiders with 39 and gave up just over a hit per inning to close the regular season with a .284 opponents average against him.
