Fresh off his sophomore year with the Big Green, Austen Michel posted a 3 – 2 record in a team-high 17 appearances. The righty led his team with a 3.38 ERA in 45.1 innings while striking out 35 batters. On May 1, Michel played a significant role in Dartmouth’s 13 inning bout against Brown. He earned the win after giving up just one hit and no runs in 7.0 innings out of the bullpen.


Last summer, Michel played for the North Shore Navigators of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League where he was named the league’s 2017 Pitcher of the Year, leading the FCBL in ERA (1.55).
