Known for his defense, Hill just finished his third season of play for the Rams as redshirted his freshman year in 2015.  Hill had a solid season for Rhode Island as in 45 games played he hit .225 with 32 hits, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored and a career-high 10 stolen bases.  Defense has always been the bright spot for Hill and he continued to shine this season as he was top three on the team with 64 assists to go along with 25 putouts and a .900 fielding percentage.  Hill came into his third season as a Ram hitting .217 over his first two, including a slash line of .240/.347/.316 as a redshirt-freshman in 2016.  He tallied 45 hits over his first two seasons with six doubles, four triples and a long ball, while in the field he racked up over 100 assists, 63 putouts and 17 double plays turned.  The Durham, Conn., native was a standout up the middle as a three year starter for Xavier High School in Middletown, Conn.  Hill will add yet another level to an already impressive middle infield making the trip to Sanford this summer.
