Dockman continued to prove why he was so highly touted coming out of high school in Ohio and that he should be an everyday guy out of the bullpen for the Duke Blue Devils.  Despite only being a freshman, the 6-4 lefty is second on the team in appearances (22) and has the third-lowest ERA (1.52) in what has been an impressive bullpen for the Blue Devils, who earned an NCAA Tournament bid this season as well.  He threw 23.2 innings out of the bullpen striking out 20, walking only nine and allowing only four earned runs.  The Hilliard, Ohio native was the Perfect Game’s No. 22 overall player in the state of Ohio in the class of 2017, after a successful career at Watterson High School.  Dockman, a two-time Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention, was known for his command throughout his high school career allowing an average of only one walk per 15 innings pitched.
