| Coach Blundell graduated from Jamestown College, ND in 2004, with an International Business degree. After an All-American playing career and NAIA World Series appearance in 2004 with Jamestown College, Coach Blundell joined their coaching staff for the 2005 season. As Hitting and Infield Coach, he helped lead Jamestown to its 3rd consecutive Conference Championship. That year, Jamestown College finished 4th in the NAIA in fielding percentage, and 1st in the NAIA in total runs allowed. Coach Blundell is in his 6th year as General Manager and Coach at Vancouver Island Baseball Institute. V.I.B.I. won the 2010 CCBC National Championships marking the first championship for the program. Vancouver Island Baseball Institute has aided over 30 players in the past 6 years receive scholarship offers, and continues to develop All-Conference and All-American players. Coach Blundell spent 5 summers in the Western Major Baseball League (WMBL), three with the St. Albert Prospects as a player, coach and manager, one season with the expansion Sherwood Park Dukes, and one season with the Swift Current Indians, the defending WMBL champions. Coach Blundell was awarded with 2008 Coach of the Year in the WMBL. He has spent the past year building baseball in the Nanaimo area, coaching the 16U Nanaimo Pirates in the 2010 season.
