The Hawaii Stars takes advantage of late error to beat the Maui Na Koa Ikaika, 3-2

A walk-off error from Reece Alnas brought home the winning run for the Hawaii Stars (22-22) in a 3-2 victory over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (26-24) in 11 innings at Wong Stadium on Tuesday.

Alnas had a hot bat for the Hawaii Stars. Alnas went 1-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Dallas Mahan pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out three.

Roman Martinez improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Hawaii Stars. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered no hits.

Vinnie St. John was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
