DAngelo Jimenez drove in the winning run to give the New Jersey Jackals (43-29) the lead in the seventh inning, as the New Jersey Jackals hung on to beat the Newark Bears (22-51) 3-2 on Friday.
With the score tied at two, Jimenez came to the plate and doubled.Jimenez had three extra-base hits for the Newark Bears. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Kyle Greenwalt got the win for the New Jersey Jackals thanks to 11 strikeouts. Greenwalt allowed two earned runs on nine hits and no walks over 6 2/3 innings.
