Joe Wainhouse went 2-4 as the Bellevue (36-17) took home a 5-4 victory over the Mt. Hood (26-19) at David Story Field - Longview, W on Friday.

Cody Anderson's 10 strikeouts were enough to push the Bellevue past the Mt. Hood. Anderson allowed two earned runs, eight hits and four walks over nine innings.

A bright spot for the Mt. Hood in the defeat was Riley Moore, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Isaac Benard boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Mt. Hood. He singled in the third and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Moore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year.
