The Edmonds (25-14) took down the Douglas 9-1 on Sunday at Triton Field after slamming the Douglas (7-23) with eight runs in the third inning.
The Edmonds scored in the third on a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Justin Polzin, an RBI double by Jesse Moore, a sacrifice fly by Hunter Henry, an RBI double by Daniel Bateman, and a two-run single by Jake Malone.
Moore led the Edmonds' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI.
Jared Gray picked up the win for the Edmonds. Gray pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out three.
Zach Campagne (0-5) took the loss for the Douglas. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked one and struck out none.
